"NARRATIVE SCRAPBOOKING and RECYCLE FINE ART
"...will be 3 wks setting up day aftr tomorrow; things organically falling into place. Ten-15 ’catalogues’ and a certainty re making prints of up to ten favs (not billed as limited in no. bcause intend to re-produce them for at least a year hence). This morning, mentally upped a price range from $2, $5,$10 to $5, $10, $15 but not because of size, rather ’memento value’ to me. I feel comfortable with that. Sold for ’friend/family’ price what a week ago I’d have said was the Show’s highlight. I came down from $85 to $65 then to $45 because the item she irrationally set her heart upon has only a story behind it. Two weeks ago on my 30% srs. discount at Value Village I bought a hvyWood orange ’depiction’ (2D showing tiny four cows at bottom right) for less than $3. Pressed a prime, circa 2003 orange tissue result on it and after a few days in the window hid it as NFS. But as [ ] is from the prairies it has value to her and there isn’t anybody I’d rather see own it. She was told that the four cows were becoming more visible as the light seemed to cause tissue- fade (despite acrylic varnish) and to cover her purchase she should have a colour photocopy made to store behind the art work These are the kinds of sales I’d rather make: Not ripping off people.
pp Attached is [ ] weekly ad but please note as per subject line I am trying to elevate effort to Recycle Fine Art.
Monday night was in Emergency for 7 hrs. Stayed in bed Tues and went ’to work’ yeserday (am still a bit shaky). Nothing to elaborate upon or worry about. Woodpecker outside is making his/ her customary 7 (sometimes 8) clicks. How is your brood?"
...explaining last sentence: Recipient has pigeon nest on her 19th floor balcony. Regards to all, T

"...I never kept a journal. ...memories of creativity were people-attached:
1. ...early 1930s - - my mother recycling discarded matls x the factory where she worked. Food smell of chocolate from her spattered white apron. After supper at her knee I could watch, she was content at last, fashioning a dress out of cellophane strips.
2. ...late 1950s in Burnaby - back from five years, Eastern Canada.
Replete with broken tile, for me a stint of mosaics - after my son was born.
3. ... sculpting / potter phase but no dating of it, and nothing left.
4. Superseding the above a dater and certain employment types resultng in literary output - - 1960s, 70s, 80s.
5.... Then (1989), a stamp recording artwork dates.
...I do not comprehend those instruction sheets of twenty yrs ago. ...had to learn how to write them. Date stamp held sway: month/day/year to remind me of what came out of a vat (roasting pan found, vacant lot nr Metrotown Library)."
