The Good News Solstice
...waited long enough so didn’t hesitate to heist verificatn from what took over 20 yrs (2009) to get to me;
...all my pix/text is validated by GoogleOfTheName ’Brian Arthur’, an economist whose admired thesis is that - - "new technologies arise through new and unexpected combinations of existing ones..."
...missed seeing Moon disappear but
...today/tomorrow we retilt ... Love to all,

HANDBOOK INTRO
...partial...
...this is not : Instruction Book / Manual / Formula. Also, although integrating the I Ching / Tarot, this System does not traffic in either’s occult. Any early (inevitable) veering such ways should be avoided: ’Do No Harm’...
...what one can get from the Handbook:
...World building
I Ching = momentum. Influence, exploration, a c t i o n
Tarot - twenty-two ’launch pads’. Places to file things
Chess - Kt. Tour puzzle; new bi-ways
Cards - ’familiars’ . . . . stimuli . . . . Influence Options . . . . Plot Twists
Counters and Lists - evidence of advancement at least 1/2"
(not necessarily achievement).

Writing 2
...one dream, recurrent, presents me each time w the same
Agatha Christie ’plots’ - - stretches of lane on each side of which are regimented allotments separated by the Picket Fence.
...by chance, 07dec10, compiling the fourth of nine binders, I tucked one of the WIDOWS’ cold case Agendas into a pocket and attn flitted from blank mtg FORM to the word ’CONSTABLE’ on the pocket below.
(see pics: page 15 partial; ’ Village’, Dylan Thomas).
...my CONSTABLE doesn’t investigate (yet) but visits a celebrated Widow (friend of formr WWII detective) who presumably due to ill health hasn’t attended her regular monthly pub mtg.
...this is how the Chingarot works.

EYE of GOD DANCE HALL
Shorty 1
...it was one of those rare weekends when Shorty
wasn’t competing so he didn’t have to get it first
from Torch who was running things and then the
police and later all sorts of busybodies.
...an extremely unfortunate accident - - a girl losing
her leg. She wouldn’t be back dancing. Soon
if ever. There was lots of commotion; tourniquets,
finding her purse, her coat; locating friends Babs
and Betty C. Then the paramedics. Lots of contri-
tion. Apologies of course. And Shorty not having
to do it alone or second-hand.
...such a simple thing, to trip over an obstacle in a
stag line. To fall. Get her leg impaled. About mid-
evening; males wadded together before it’s sure
what the band will play even though the board says
clearly ’Polka’ and the next card to move up says
’Mixer’ (fox trot).
...someone asked, "Why was she cutting across
the men’s turf?" What was she doing, running?
What was he doing with his leg stuck out like that?
And what about the guy she fell on? Shorty told
Galbanum the bouncer, later, to forge routine
swathes through this corner of the House.
...what gets me is that management didn’t close
down the place. It should have. A ring of dark-suited
escorts obscured Torchy’s putting down of fine
sawdust kept no one knew why. The music struck
up the Heel-Toe polka (why she was plummeting to
get a partner in the first place) from what was then
the ’alcove’. Someone said, "Let’s get on with this
jig."
...it doesn’t matter for this kind of dive, but no one
knew anyone could lose a leg.

Writing 1
...have known excitement.... Entered (early 1990s) two or three novel-writing Labour Day wkend contests - - Fri 6pm-Sun.midnight. Am reminded of this (05dec10) having less than three wks to produce text for evenNo. pages / pockets; this year’s gift binders.
...plots for me somehow deepen during the reading of others’ fictions. By no means plagiarism as one’s mind, weighted, gets touched off and spews its own stored material of the day :
...counter reactions. unrelated phrases...
...words like ’ wheedle ’.
...my small Bandelore group outside the Doll Hospital has arrived tired, and hungry as hell. Wanting to be picked up: Needing to be carried: My ARMY rebels. Somehow, I get seven children (one is lost) inside the store.
...striding beside today’s reading (Patricia Cornwell - TRACE) is to pace to and fro alongside a Doll Hospital’s ancient (m) proprietor. A profile not yet clear, emerges. The prop lets slip that his EMPEROR MIDWAY store will soon be torn down.
I didn’t know that.
