Line Breaks
A sky extends from my telephone pole, R to the top fifth of Mt. Baker.
A scattered suggestive wedge (dress rehearsal) of geese announces itself heading
. . high . . . North East in the sky-portion extending
from my tel.pole L to Golden Ears.
The geese announce themselves, that's what's different and
I take their numbers as epic.
Minutes later, a second wedge, or part of the first ? [_____________] ?
LINE NEEDS WORK
One resumes sitting. Hears the honking straggler
And I kid you not a squirrelShadow on my inner North wall
. . . scurries . . .
h i g h . above the parking lot
along the cable which leads from the tel.pole
to my roof.

Masks
... late due to getting Alterd Books ready for craft fair.
Because late, can cntinue for 12 mos. = binder w pockets
to house thumbnail illus., various masks. A world ceremony calendar
to signal rturn to artefact and/or estab 6 mos away, Day of the Mask to reinforce "being expressive behind it".
Somerset Mag. Jenny Doh's editorial (paraphrased)
(Cinderella mask Oct.31 '74 "...plastic w holes at eyes/ nose/ mouth. In it I felt beautiful/ regal/ surprisingly lliberated...
"the mask allowed me to bhave like a princess while preserving...anonymity.
"For the first time since Aug 14, 1974 (a Korean's 1st day at an Am. sch) my Cinderella mask allowed me the freedom to prance around/ be silly/ expressive -- things not so easy to do when you feel you don't
quite fit in....
"that night the more expressive we bcame bhind our masks, the more we (plus brothers) started to fit in w the neighborhood kids and authentic friendships started to bloom."

catching up (contemp3)
To encourage a greater variety of interpretations in last century's '50s' John Cage notated his (music) scores with nontraditional symbols (abstract art; not yet having their own stream?). But hold on: In Oct., twenty experimental composers presented a show of contemp graphic notatn. Mebbe there's goodies left in THE KITCHEN.ORG (New York)
